We aim to improve not only our patient's lives but also those of our team members. The ChenMed Cares program is an emergency assistance fund that supports individuals experiencing a sudden emergent crisis. ChenMed Cares was created out of the efforts of co-founder Mary Chen, who, with a servant’s heart, has always given to employees in need. Through a partnership with Helping Hands Ministries, ChenMed Cares has benefited more than 500+ individuals who have experienced various situations, including natural disasters, domestic violence, and medical emergencies. At ChenMed, we care deeply for our patients and take the time to love and support our team members.

Heart of Service
ChenMed is built on a cornerstone of noble and compassionate service. In this spirit, the Chen family both invests and participates in medical mission work in Nicaragua, bringing care and supplies to another of the world’s neediest populations. In 2021, ChenMed also hosted its first-ever domestic mission trip to Immokalee, Florida, where team members gave their time and talents to spread health and hope by providing health services and encouragement to individuals in need.
Caring for Our Communities
ChenMed spearheads an annual Serving and Giving Month, encouraging team members at all levels to give back to their communities. In 2022 alone, ChenMed contributed over 5,000 volunteers and 20,000 volunteer hours across 15 states, supporting our mission of compassion and care.
