Our care teams are one of the most critical teams at ChenMed. These nursing professionals serve as the right hand of the physicians, assisting them in various ways during patient visits. Care team members exhibit outstanding levels of compassion, empathy, and care for all patients they encounter throughout the day. A commitment to providing the best care for seniors and a willingness to assist other team members makes our care teams different from other healthcare facilities.
There are several career advancement opportunities within the care team. At ChenMed, our care team consists of four main roles: Center Clinical Manager, Care Promoter, Care Coordinator, and Care Facilitator.
Care Team Supervisor (Center Clinical Manager)
A leadership role within the care team that’s responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of center clinical staff. Overseeing that the VIP experience is optimized through our clinical care operations by managing efficient center operations, including quality, compliance, human resources, patient experience, and clinical standards of care.
An unlicensed medical professional that graduated from an accredited college and has obtained an MA certification. The care promoter works closely with physicians and is cross-trained to perform routine clinical and administrative tasks within the center.
Team members must be organized, detailed oriented, and able to work in fast pace environment. In this role, the care coordinator must work closely with patients, their families, insurance companies, and other medical professionals to ensure the referral process goes smoothly.
The team member is one of a patient’s first points of contact when visiting a center. They are responsible for checking patients in and out of the center while delivering excellent customer service. They will also be asked to assist other employees with various tasks within the center.
Care team members are essential parts of the center staff. They manage different aspects of the patient’s care inside and outside of the center on the patient’s behalf. Many care team members say it’s the best and most rewarding job they’ve had.
